Industrial hemp is legal in Arizona. That follows President Trump’s signing of the 2018 Farm Bill, which moved hemp out of the category of illegal substances.
But rules are still being finalized here, and farmers are considering whether to add hemp to crops they’re already growing. There’s a buzz around the crop, and a number of farmers have already applied to have it on their land.
