And, here in the Phoenix metro area, mid-century architecture has made its mark. In Post World War II Phoenix, architects like Al Beadle and Ralph Haver could be found everywhere. But there were many more who contributed to the era.
On Thursday, the State of Arizona Research Library’s 2019 Arizona Author Series brings award-winning local architect and author Douglas Sydnor to tell us more about them. Sydnor is the founding principal at Scottsdale firm Douglas Sydnor Architect + Associates and joined The Show to talk about it.
