Gas Prices Drop As June Comes To An End

The average gas price in Arizona dropped by 4 cents from last week, standing at $2.90.

Michelle Donati with AAA Arizona said these costs are astounding when weighed against record-breaking demand.

“Gas prices are going down and that’s despite the fact that U.S. gasoline demand hit its highest level ever recorded since the energy information administration began publishing data in 1991," Donati said.

Tucson currently enjoys the lowest prices in the state, while Flagstaff has the highest.
