Monday night is the deadline to register to vote in Phoenix’s August election, which could have a major effect on the future of the city.
Two ballot measures will go to voters.
Proposition 105 asks whether or not the city should stop any extensions of the light rail, including work that has already started.
The second, Proposition 106, would stop future budget growth for most city departments unless pensions are funded at least 90%.
You can register to vote online at servicearizona.com before midnight or you can submit a paper form to the Phoenix City Clerk’s Office by close of business Monday.
The election is Aug. 27.
