US Military Branches Begin Synchronized Combat Training Southeast Of Tucson

This month, all four U.S. armed services converge at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base for a military search and rescue mission.

A spokesperson for the base southeast of Tucson said members from the Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps begin today more than two weeks of realistic training to synchronize actions in the initial days of a conflict.

The Department of Defense launched the “Red Flag-Rescue” joint training at Davis-Monthan last year, basing it on lessons learned in the Vietnam conflict.
