Customs and Border Protection is reporting a computer issue that has affected international travelers arriving at airports across the United States.
According to a statement posted on Twitter, Customs officials are processing international arrivals using alternative methods until they can get their computer systems back online.
Travelers are posting social media photos of long lines at Customs checkpoints at multiple airports. International arrivals should expect delays clearing immigration and customs.
Sky Harbor International Airport spokesperson Heather Lissner said so far there haven’t been any reports of delays at the airport.
