Months After Completing The Drought Contingency Plan, We Have To Use It

Just a few months after completing the Drought Contingency Plan for the Colorado River states, water managers in the southwest will likely have to implement it starting in 2020.

That’s according to new projections for the levels of key reservoirs in the southwestern river basin, and Arizona is first in line to take water cutbacks.

KUNC reporter Luke Runyon joined The Show to explain what that means.
