Aug. 20 marks a painful but important moment in our nation's history: the arrival of the first African slaves 400 years ago.
For Dr. Wanda Tucker, it also marks the arrival of her own family.
Wanda is the faculty chair of psychology, philosophy and religious studies at Rio Salado College, and the descendant of the first black family brought to colonial Virginia in 1619. She recently traveled to Angola, which was documented by USA Today, and joined The Show to talk about the journey.
