Arizona’s schools chief has announced the creation of a new statewide advisory council, but you’re probably too old to apply.
Superintendent of Public Instruction Kathy Hoffman is looking for students, representing grades 5 through 12 to join the Department of Education’s first statewide student advisory council.
In a statement, Hoffman said she wants to hear from students about their experiences in school today.
Students from across the state are invited to apply and, if chosen, will serve a one-year term. Interested students have until Sept. 16 to submit their applications online.
