The Bureau of Land Management will extend its current fire restrictions within the Colorado River District due to extremely dry conditions.
The BLM first implemented the restrictions in June.
Restrictions are usually lifted by Labor Day weekend, according to a BLM spokesperson, but because there has been very little rain and the fire risk remains high, the agency decided to keep the restrictions in place.
