Top Arizona leaders hosted a town hall Wednesday night in their latest push for Congress to ratify a trade deal with Mexico and Canada.
Gov. Doug Ducey and Congressman Greg Stanton doubled down on a week of pressuring Congress to ratify the USMCA. The governor first thanked members of Arizona’s delegation who support the new trade deal with Mexico and Canada. But then he singled out others.
"And you can engage on the website to help us with Rep. (Tom) O’Halleran, Rep. (Anne) Kirkpatrick, Rep. (Raul) Grijalva, Rep. (Paul) Gosar and Rep. (Ruben) Gallego."
The website Ducey is referring to is USMCANOW.org, launched by the governor’s office this week.
#USMCA is an opportunity to take Arizona’s trade relationships with Mexico and Canada to a whole new level. Learn more, get involved in the discussion and make your voice heard using the new #USMCANow website. https://t.co/0qWxuy87pg @AzMxCom pic.twitter.com/FFpX7RCbNW
