The Valley of the Sun United Way has been active in our community for nearly 100 years. It’s one of the largest nonprofits in the area and, now, it has a new leader at its helm.
Carla Vargas Jasa is the first Latina and the first woman to take the lead of the organization. She came to the Valley from Orange County and hopes she will bring in a new perspective.
