Water Shut-Off In Oak Creek Planned For Oct. 21-22

People in the Oak Creek Canyon area need to prepare for a water shut-off because of repairs to the nearby fish hatchery.

The water system in Oak Creek Canyon will be shut off for two days in order to complete repairs to the Sterling Springs Fish Hatchery delivery system.

Arizona Game and Fish Department will shut off the water on Monday and Tuesday. It is expected to be back in use on Wednesday. The hatchery is in the midst of a yearlong renovation.

The specific areas affected by the water shut-off include the Pine Flats Subdivision, Manresa Resort, Pine Flat Campground and the public water faucet along State Route 89A.
