Campaign finance reports reveal an uncomfortable reality for Arizona Republicans as we head into the 2020 election season.
The state Republican Party raised just over $80,000 in the last quarter. The state Democratic Party raised that too, along with another $270,000 on top.
All told, Democrats took in nearly $350,000, clearly outpacing Republicans, reflecting a larger trend this year. According to a tally by Capitol Media Services’ Howie Fischer, Democrats outraised Republicans by more than $250,000 from January to September.
So, what’s happening in the GOP camp? Is it too late to catch up? To put this into perspective, The Show reached out to Chuck Coughlin, president and CEO of HighGround.
