The Tonto National Forest will begin selling Christmas tree permits.
The permits will allow holders to cut down a tree in any designated cutting spot within the Tonto National Forest.
There will be maps provided and tree cutting instructions for those with the permit. The permit allows customers to cut down a tree up to 10-feet tall and are limited to one tree per household.
The permits will cost $15 and can be bought at selected locations on a first-come, first-served basis until they are gone. Forest officials recommend cutting trees early in the season to avoid harsh weather conditions.
Cutting dates run from Nov. 18 until Dec. 24.
