Maryvale is one of Phoenix’s 15 villages and one of the area’s more diverse communities, but the general perception is that Maryvale has largely been left behind in the economic revival of the past decade.
An event Wednesday morning intended to turn that around. It’s the grand opening of the Maryvale Business Center and Maryvale Spark Center, and it’s being launched by the Maryvale Revitalization Corporation.
Jeff Armor is the corporation’s executive director. The Show spoke with him and asked him to explain the goals of the business center.
