Arizona Colleges See Decline In International Student Enrollment Over Last Few Years

The number of international students enrolling in U.S. universities has been on the decline over the past year. For Arizona’s public universities, there has a been a significant drop over the last several years.

The majority of international students here come from China, followed by India and Saudi Arabia. The Arizona Republic reports that Arizona State University’s international enrollment is on the decline for the third year in a row.

To talk about this trend, The Show spoke with Karin Fischer, senior reporter at The Chronicle of Higher Education.
