New Report Has Good News And Bad News For Rural Arizona Schools

More rural Arizona high school students are graduating in four years than in the past, but fewer are passing at least one AP exam.

Those are among the findings of a new report from The Rural Schools and Community Trust. Arizona saw noticeable improvement in some areas, but it wasn’t quite enough to ease concerns for the future of rural students entirely.

For more on what the Why Rural Matters report means for Arizona, The Show was joined by Melissa Sadorf, superintendent of the Stanfield Elementary School District in Pinal County.
