As the Trump administration focuses its immigration-related policies on border security and new wall construction along the border, Republicans and Democrats typically move to their separate corners. U.S. House members, however, approached one immigration-related economic issue in a bipartisan fashion.
The new legislation would increase the number of farm laborers legally able to work here and includes potential safeguards related to pay, housing and transportation.
