The Show regularly checks in with Editorial Board of the Arizona Republic to talk about the big issues facing the state and the region — featured in the newspaper’s Viewpoints section.

Last month, The Show reported that Tempe officials are considering lowering the speed limit in their city as part of an effort to reduce pedestrian deaths.

There are two more public hearings scheduled this week, on Wednesday and Saturday.

A recent column argues that lowering speed limits would be a good idea. Phil Boas, Editorial Page Editor of The Arizona Republic, joined The Show for his weekly appearance to explain why.
