They are called "porch pirates," the people sometimes seen in grainy doorbell camera videos stealing packages delivered to doorways.
A recent New York Times analysis estimates 1.7 million packages are stolen in America every day, and the United States Postal Service is expecting 800 million packages to ship between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day.
