A proposal in the Arizona Legislature would add two conditions to the list of those for which patients could get a medical marijuana card: opioid use disorder and autism spectrum disorder.
Voters approved the state’s medical marijuana program in 2010, which allows state health officials to add to the list of "debilitating medical conditions" that qualify for a medical marijuana recommendation. Both opioid use disorder and autism spectrum disorder have come up in the past as potential ones to add to that list.
