The tradition of storytelling is one that comes from humanity’s earliest days, and it’s enjoyed a renaissance over the past decade or so.
Crowds gather around the Valley and across the country to hear from all sorts of people about their personal experiences. There are variations of the style, though, and one of those is Bar Flies, which was started in Phoenix in 2015.
One of its leaders is award-winning journalist Amy Silverman, who joined The Show to talk about the new "Bar Flies" book. It’s being released tonight in tandem with a Bar Flies holiday event called Eating Christmas at the Van Buren.
