How Violence In Mexico Could Affect Tourism

More than 40 suspects have been identified in connection with the killings of nine women and children who were members of the LeBaron family. The family, which calls themselves Mormon, has lived in Northern Mexico for decades. Many of them have dual U.S.-Mexican citizenship.

And yesterday, another story hit the wires: An American family driving back to the U.S. from Tamaulipas, Mexico, was attacked just south of Texas. A 13-year-old boy was killed, and three others were wounded.

So, as Americans see more stories like these, will they continue traveling between our two countries? For more on that, The Show sat down earlier this morning with Dallen Timothy, Tourism Professor in the ASU School of Community Resources and Development.
