There are no shortages of the use of the term "Judeo-Christian" when it comes to categorizing moral, ethical and political life in America. But what it really means and whether it's applied in a way the term would imply is up for questioning.
And has the phrase ever truly been accurate in describing a collective philosophy?
K. Healan Gaston of the Harvard Divinity School recently wrote a book about all of that called " Imagining Judeo-Christian America: Religion, Secularism and the Redefinition of Democracy." She’s in Tempe for an event at ASU today and joined The Show to shed light on these questions.
