It’s an election year, and that has Arizona lawmakers already making plans to come up with a budget as soon as possible so they can hit the campaign trail.
Gov. Doug Ducey officially released his proposal, and GOP leaders in the Arizona House and Senate followed suit.
Even with close margins in both bodies, it doesn’t seem as though Democrats are going to have much input.
That’s why political observer and Arizona Mirror columnist Chris Herstam thinks that the governor’s proposal may be a good option for them to support — or at least not be unhappy about.
