The relationship between public officials and the press has taken a few hits recently — with incidents involving Arizona Sen. Martha McSallyand a CNN reporter, and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and NPR reporter Mary Louise Kelly.
That relationship is something Scott Pelley has been thinking a lot about.
The "60 Minutes" correspondent and former anchor of the CBS Evening News has a new book called "Truth Worth Telling: A Reporter’s Search for Meaning in the Stories of Our Times."
Pelley was in town recently to speak at Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
