TGen Encourages Students To Get Into The Lab

There has been an increased emphasis in recent years on the so-called STEM subjects in schools — that’s science, technology, engineering and math — and it’s been happening both here in Arizona and elsewhere.

Phoenix-based TGen is also looking to help students interested in the sciences, with a pair of programs aimed at getting them into the lab; the application process ends in early February.

Kristen Kaus, supervisor of education and outreach at TGen, and Kami Leka, a sophomore at ASU studying biomedical engineering and TGen intern, joined The Show to talk about the programs.
