Arizona Department Of Health Services Monitoring Coronavirus

It’s been almost two weeks since someone in Arizona was diagnosed with the coronavirus. As of this morning, the Centers for Disease Control reports 11 people in the United States have been diagnosed with the infection.

Worldwide, the number of coronavirus cases topped 20,000 this week, with the vast majority in China, where it originated. The World Health Organization reports 425 people have died.

Jessica Rigler joined The Show to talk about what's happening. Rigler is assistant director of the Arizona Department of Health Services, the public health agency that’s monitoring the coronavirus in Arizona.
