Rain, Cooler Temperatures Headed Into Phoenix This Week

The flawless weather we’ve had the past few days is gone.

National Weather Service meteorologist Mark O’Malley says to expect highs in the mid-60s, as well as a good chance of rain this week.

"The best chance of rain will be on Monday afternoon into Monday evening," O'Malley said. "Showers could linger in the Phoenix area through Tuesday afternoon before things start to clear out in the middle of the week. Some areas may only see around a quarter-of-an-inch, while others may see over 3-quarters of an inch of total rainfall."

In the high country, O'Malley says to expect snow early in the week, with temperatures dropping down into the teens.
