Mexico Overtakes China As U.S. Top Trading Partner

China is no longer the U.S.'s largest trading partner. Mexico is.

New numbers from the U.S. Department of Commerce show a record level of trade with our neighbor to the south — some $614.5 billion in exports and imports.

Canada came in a close second with just a couple billion dollars less in trade.

Trade with China fell 15%. That’s about $100 billion less that last year when it was the top trading partner of the United States.

Ken Roberts, CEO of WorldCity Inc, and USTradeNumbers.com, joined The Show to explain what’s behind the numbers.
