Scandals Raise Questions About Relationships Between Arizona Lawmakers And Lobbyists

The Arizona Capitol is wrestling with multiple lawmaker-lobbyist related scandals. State Sen. Michelle Ugenti-Rita (R-Scottsdale) allegedly harassed a female lobbyist, leading her Democratic colleagues to demand an investigation that seems unlikely at this point.

And Rep. David Cook (R-Globe) faces multiple ethics complaints stemming from his alleged affair with a lobbyist.

Both cases raise questions about the boundaries — or lack thereof — between lawmakers and lobbyists.

Hank Stephenson, editor of the Yellow Sheet Report, joined The Show to tell us more about how these cases have been playing out in the political community.
