'The Sniffles Vs. Open Heart Surgery': UA Law School Project Lets Non-Lawyers Help Domestic Violence Survivors

A pilot project at the University of Arizona law school will allow survivors of domestic violence to get legal advice from non-lawyers.

Starting this fall, the school will be training what are being called Licensed Legal Advocates, who will generally be social service professionals.

Stacy Butler is director of the Innovation for Justice Program at the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona, and she joined The Show to talk more about the project.
