After a rainy weekend, nice weather is returning to the Phoenix area later this week.
But, National Weather Service meteorologist Jaret Rogers says to expect cool temperatures for the first half of the week.
"Starting out Monday with a high of 71 low of 47, and those temperatures should hold through about Thursday when we have a warm up to 77 on Thursday," said Rogers. "And then on Friday, we’re gonna reach 80 degrees into the weekend. A little bit of a warmup, temperatures should be close to normal through Thursday before a little bit of a warmup on the weekend."
Rogers said Saturday was Phoenix’s rainiest day since October 2018, with a little over an inch reported at Sky Harbor Airport.
