Event Aims To Better Integrate Design And Construction Into Their Environments

A one-day conference happening today in Phoenix aims to bring together different groups of people to think differently about development.

It’s based on the Living Building Challenge and the idea of Regenerative Design, which both try to better integrate design and construction into their environments.

The Show recently sat down with two of the people helping to organize the event, at the Desert Botanical Garden.

Matthew Salenger is an artist and architect with Colab Studio in Tempe and one of the head facilitators for the Living Building Challenge Sonoran Collaborative, and Ashley Mulhall is an architect with Orcutt Winslow in Phoenix and also a facilitator for the collaborative.
