The George W. Bush Institute’s Freedom and Democracy program is calling on Americans — from academics and the press to the president — to reinforce support for democracy and human rights.
In a recent report titled “Choose Freedom,” the Institute argues that the country’s core foundational values are still very much alive — but they’re also being challenged by authoritarianism, populism and other negative perceptions.
Lindsay Lloyd, the Bradford M. Freeman Director of the Human Freedom Initiative at the Bush Institute, joined The Show to talk about the report.
