Arizona School Districts Spending More Money In The Classroom

Schools in Arizona are spending more of their money in the classroom than in years past. This is the third straight year that’s been the case.

The numbers come from a report from the Arizona Auditor General’s Office. But, even with those increases, schools are still spending less now than in 2004.

Per-pupil spending in Arizona continues to be below the national average.

Howard Fischer of Capitol Media Services joined The Show to break down the new report.
