Meterologist Isaac Smith from the National Weather Service in Phoenix says to expect about 1 1/2 inches of rain, with chances increasing as the week goes on.
"We’ll see chances start to increase Monday night into Tuesday across south-central Arizona and south-east California Monday night into Tuesday," Smith said. "We’ll see those chances go up to about 60% to 70% chance, and we’ll see that continue throughout much of the week, possibly lingering into Friday."
Smith says thunderstorms are possible as well, which could cause flooding. In the high country, cool temperatures could lead to some rain-snow mix.
