Spring break at Arizona State University ends this weekend, but students won’t be back in classrooms on Monday.
In an email to the ASU community, President Michael Crow announced that in-person classes will be moved online "wherever possible."
There are no confirmed cases of the coronavirus at ASU.
But Crow cited concerns that university students and staff may have traveled over spring break to parts of the world where there may be community spread of the virus.
The university provost’s office began prepping faculty to teach classes remotely earlier this week.
Crow said classes will remain online for at least the next two weeks.
University housing, computer labs and other student services will still be open.
