Tempe History Society Featuring Movies That Feature Tempe

The Tempe History Society is showing its city on the silver screen.

Each Wednesday night this month, the group is showing movies that document Tempe at a specific point in time. The series kicked off with a screening of the 1940 movie "Marked Man" and continues Wednesday  with the 1976 film, "A Star is Born."

Historian Jay Mark joined The Show to talk about the idea behind a series of movies that specifically portray Tempe on screen.
