Remember all of those horror films from the 1960s, '70s and '80s that had children as lead characters — Carol Anne from "Poltergeist," Regan from "The Exorcist," Danny from "The Shining" and Carrie from "Carrie"?
Tempe-based playwright Paco Jose Madden wondered what happened to those kids when they grew up and wrote a play about it: " Rosemary’s Baby Goes To High School."
Madden spoke with to The Show about the inspiration for his new play.
Madden sees some parallels between the devil's offspring in Roman Polanski’s classic and problems with the way we communicate today.
"Rosemary’s Baby Goes To High School" is running at the Aside Theatre in Phoenix through March 22.
