How Will Arizona's Hospitality Industry Be Affected By Cancellations?

As every industry across the country prepares for the economic impact of the coronavirus, leaders in the region’s hospitality sector are bracing for an especially hard hit.

Major League Baseball has canceled the remainder of the Cactus League season, the LPGA pulled the plug on an upcoming tournament in Phoenix, and companies are canceling business conferences and meetings booked at area facilities.

To discuss the anticipated impact and how the region’s hospitality industry, The Show spoke with Debbie Johnson, executive director of the Arizona Office of Tourism.
