Artists in every field usually believe they were born to do what they do — from writing to the visual arts to music.
That certainly applies to dancer Rosie Kay, and she felt it in the strongest way when she was injured during a performance.
Kay is in the Phoenix area for a Mesa Arts Center performance of her piece "5 Soldiers," which came about in part because of her injury and led to a dance about modern warfare.
