Coronavirus Slows 2020 Ballot Petitions

Even as public health officials encourage social distancing and an end to large events, campaigns are ramping up to get both candidates and causes on the 2020 ballot.

State and local candidates have until early April, and citizen initiatives have until July to get enough signatures to qualify.

Some consultants, however, are worried there isn’t nearly enough to get the job done. Hank Stephenson, editor of The Yellow Sheet Report, joined The Show to tell us more.
