The Sometimes Hilarious Struggle Of Working From Home With Kids

You probably remember the video that went viral in 2017 of Robert Kelly’s children interrupting an interview he was doing with the BBC and him trying to keep his cool.

It was adorable and hilarious — and at the time, it felt like a funny fluke.

But now that more and more people are working from home due to the coronavirus, and they might be experiencing their own unexpected moments of hilarity.

This happened to Seth Kaplan on The Show just last week. Kaplan is a transportation analyst that talked with us about how the airline industry is reacting to the virus. He's also a dad working from home.

Luckily, due to the magic of radio, Kaplan’s interview was able to go on air without any unexpected guests — but not everyone has been so lucky.

Along with lots of other people, all of the hosts of the late-night talk shows have started broadcasting their nightly shows from home. Including Jimmy Fallon, whose kids are probably the toughest crowd he’s ever had.

They’re climbing all over him while he’s filming and they think his jokes are bad. They always did say 4- and 6-year-olds are the most critical audience.

Good luck to all the parents working from home out there — and thanks for tuning into The Show.
