Many Navajo Nation Residents Ignoring Coronavirus Recommendations

As of Monday morning, the Navajo Nation reports 29 cases of COVID-19.

President Jonathan Nez issued a shelter-in-place order to combat the spread. But our next guest reports many people living on the Navajo Nation do not seem to be heeding the warnings.

Patty Talahongva is the executive producer of Indian Country Today and has been reporting on the spread of the virus on the nation’s largest Indian reservation. She joined The Show to talk more about it.
