As schools remain closed and many families try to figure out how to teach — or at least entertain — their kids from home. There are still a lot of parents who can’t stay home with their kids. Single parents, health care workers, those who are on that list of “essential” workers who still have to go to work.
So where do they send their kids all day? When Gov. Doug Ducey first announced school closures in our state, the Boys & Girls Club stepped up and said its facilities would largely remain open to help fill that need.
So a few weeks in, how’s it going? How many kids are they hosting and how are they keeping them safe?
