Arizona Hospitals Working To Expand Bed Capacity

As the number of COVID-19 cases increases in Arizona, there is tremendous concern over whether our hospitals can treat the thousands of patients that are expected to require care.

That’s why Gov. Doug Ducey issued an  executive order calling for hospitals to maximize staffing and increase the number of available hospital beds by 50%. 

Ann-Marie Alameddin, president and CEO of the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association, talks more about the challenges hospitals face.
