As part of the $2 trillion stimulus package Congress approved last week to deal with the coronavirus pandemic, lawmakers allocated $400 million to election officials across the country, to start preparing for the November elections.
But the Brennan Center for Justice at the NYU Law School estimates it’ll cost more than $2 billion to make sure every eligible voter can cast their ballot in the fall.
The Show talked with Liz Howard, a counsel in the Democracy Program at the Brennan Center, and asked her what her biggest concerns are about the elections.
