Gas prices across Arizona continue to drop.
AAA Arizona spokesperson Aldo Vazquez says because fewer people are driving, prices will continue to drop.
“In Arizona, the average for a gallon of gasoline is $2.32. That’s 10 cents cheaper than it was last week and a 58 cent drop from last year when we were paying about $2.90,” Vazquez said.
The national average for a gallon is even lower at $1.90.
Vazquez says pump prices are at their lowest point since the 1990s.
OPEC nations and Russia have been meeting this week to agree on a production cut to shore up the price per barrel.
